If you’ve ever been to a National Park, or any place that has wild animals; you’ve surely heard the warning “Don’t touch the animals.” This story is the reason we hear that.

Father and son tourists at the Yellowstone National Park put a bison calf in the back of their SUV in order to “save it from the cold.”

Karen Richardson, another tourist reports, a father and son pulled up at the ranger station with a bison calf in their SUV.

“They were demanding to speak with a ranger,” Richardson says. “They were seriously worried that the calf was freezing and dying.”

Another tourist commented, “They sincerely thought they were doing a service and helping that calf by trying to save it from the cold.”

Unfortunately for the father and son, park rangers were called and the pair were ticketed. Rangers released the bison calf back at where it was taken.
